Living in a foreign country can be an intimidating experience. As an expat, you can expect to face a lot of problems and challenges when you move.
Loneliness might set in, sometimes resentment if one of the partners had to give up their career to join the partner in transition, you may fear of having a hard time fitting in, struggling with the language barrier, worried about your qualifications and future finances, making friends and adjusting to different business cultures may be difficult.
There can be feelings of overwhelm, abandonment, frustration, stress, and building relationships can be difficult. Relationships can become strained in the family, as members react differently to the new life situation.
Let’s create a plan by exploring your cultural identity and defining your coping strategies for a cultural adjustment in a small group setting.
What is group coaching?
Grounded in our core coaching competencies, group coaching brings the coaching conversation into a small group context. It is an intimate conversation space, focused on goal setting, deepening awareness around key issues, taking action, and accountability.
